Interview Top Tips
The pressure of facing into an interview is a stressful time to say the least and no matter what you think, not being prepared is going to make it a whole lot worse. Below are some top tips to get you prepared and even take away that stress so as to make the all important day a much better experience for you and the interviewers. 1. You Must Research Plan the day that you are going to be interviewed. The employer or company is going to ask you specific questions so research these possibilities. The employer or company may be in the process of upgrading or even downgrading so research how to make an impact in this area of questioning etc. 2. Practice Giving Answers There is no given formula that predicts the questions that will arise, but there are always some guaranteed questions and practicing these is recommended. Your skills and achievements are questionable so be prepared. Also the cliché of why you are the best person for the job, with some preparation this can be the interview winner. 3. Look and Be the Part Equality is spoken about so proudly by companies etc but the reality is that you may be judged before you even open your mouth. Your dress code is essential not least because you may be judged by it. Clean hands and nails are a good story being told by them-selves. 4. Keep Cool As in step 2, being prepared is the key to staying in control. Manage your time on getting to the interview on time with time to spare. Be in control the night before getting all that is necessary ready. Speak clearly and smile because at the end of the day you are being interviewed by humans not aliens and they will understand that this will be a difficult thing for you to do. 5. You Should Ask Your Own Questions Asking your own questions will give the impression of your interest in the position. Your questions also should be prepared and make good sense to the situation. Do not ask to many not more than 5 or 6 questions and allow the questions to give you a better understanding of the job and company etc. Create A Cover Letter Create A Personal Profile |
